Get Free Music for Voting from Rogue Valley

voting fishRogue Valley is celebrating the release of the vinyl compendium of their four season albums, written and released in a single year, on November 24th at the Cedar Cultural Center. Meanwhile those four albums are currently available at their site as pay-what-you-want downloads, or you could just vote. They’re giving away a copy of the “Summer” album, The Bookseller’s House, to anyone who sends them a photo of themselves with their “I voted” sticker. We think you should vote anyway, but this is a good reason to get out of your house on November 4th. Below is the full statement from the Rogue Valley Facebook page.

Dear friends,

This year we encourage you all of voting age to make a difference and vote. For doing so, we want to thank you by sending you a copy of our summer album, The Bookseller’s House (feel free to pass it along to a friend if you already have a copy).

Here’s what you need to do:

After voting, take a picture of yourself with your “I voted” sticker, and email it to We will share the pics via Facebook.

Please include your name, email address, and mailing address in your email.

*Only one submission per person. Please have pictures sent in by 11/10/2012.


Get information on registering to vote and same day registration here and use Google to find your voting location. Also, don’t forget, no matter what commercials have said, no one can turn you away from voting in Pennsylvania for not have a gov’t issued ID.
